Steps To Selling Your Home:
1. Get a comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to determine the value of your home
To determine the value of your home we will need to look at sales around your home within the last 6 months as well as other homes similar to yours and determine how they compare. We will look at days on the market, selling prices compared to listing prices and several other factors to determine the value.
2. Prepare your home for buyers
If you know of any repairs to be done... let’s get that done now. Most of us having a running list of what we’ve been meaning to do, so it’s easy to start there. When it’s obvious to a buyer that there are things that need to be repaired or a home that hasn’t been maintained it’s a big turn-off. Unclutter, depersonalize and clean!
3. Hiring the RIGHT real estate agent
This is perhaps the most important step and will set the tone of this experience and whether the transaction goes well or not.
